Weekly Happenings

Monday – Wednesday: Ditch the kitchen and head to your local to enjoy two gastropub classics for £25, every Monday to Wednesday. Choose our 14-hour Braised Beef & Ale Pie, Aubergine, Red Pepper & Buckwheat Salad, Aubrey Allen’s Steak Burger, and our sustainably sourced Fish & Chips.

Wednesday – Friday: Join us at the bar, Wednesday – Friday, between 5-6pm, to enjoy a taste of Jimmy Butler’s finest sausages. Served alongside planet-saving Rubies in the Rubble ketchup. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

***From 19^th September*** Thursday: Join us for Steak Night from 5pm! Order any two steaks and enjoy a bottle of house wine on us, or £27.50 towards any bottle.

Friday: Add some fizz to your weekend! Buy one glass or bottle of fizz (Prosecco, Cremant or Piper), between 4-7pm, and get the second on us.

Last Thursday of Every Month: Brush up on your knowledge, gather your team, and join us for our monthly quiz night. £2 entry, 6pm start, winner takes the pot. Call us on 01483 202039 to book your place.

Last Friday of Every Month in June, July August: Relax into the evening and soak up the atmosphere for our Jazz on The Patio night. Music starts from 7pm. Fridays include 27th June, 25th July, 29th August.

Silent Pool Gin Tour

Join us and the Silent Pool team for a grand tour of their distillery, followed by lunch alfresco at the pub. £45pp, to include a two course lunch and welcome drink. Get your tickets here.

Cheese & Cellar

From Thursday to Saturday, we’re celebrating all things cheese with a run of indulgent cheese specials — think cheese cornels, tasty little extras, and more — each thoughtfully paired with something special poured by the glass from a magnum. Pop in, grab a seat, and enjoy a few irresistible bites alongside a very good drink.

Comedy Night

Looking for a midweek reason to get out? Join us in the bar for a night of laughs at our Comedy Night — running from 6pm to 9pm, with the show kicking off at 7pm. Tickets are £6 per person, call the pub to book your seat. Why not make an evening of it with dinner before or after the show.

Pick up a Pumpkin

Pick up a pumpkin from 28th October and bring it back, carved and ready, in time for Halloween to be judged. No booking required — just pop by to collect your pumpkin. The best one wins a £50 Peach voucher!

Blackout Night

Join us from 6pm for our Blackout Night tradition, where the bar and conservatory is transformed into darkness, lit by candlelight, with wartime-themed classics on the menu.
